Please don't die.

I recently received a disturbing email from my study abroad professor. The little boy who I wrote a previous blog about, Mfanakhona, is HIV positive. He is 6 years old and an amazing little boy. He is in the hospital now for meningitis and it doesnt look good. Two other children were recently buried because they lost their battle. South Africa is losing its children because of AIDS and this little boy who became a great friend to me is going to become another statistic of this terrible epidemic.

Being so far away, I feel there is nothing I can do. My professor asked her students to pray; and coming from her says a lot. She is totally not a believer in Jesus Christ, and to hear her tell me to pray scares me.

So I will. I will pray. I ask you to pray as well.

mmm Mouthwash

I have come to really like mouthwash, not so much enjoy the burning part. But I feel really clean after. Any one else have this connection with mouthwash?

Happy Birthday to me!

So its my birthday, so the only thing I could do instead of another tattoo was a piercing. If anyone knows me they know I cant do piercings but I can get tattoos. But I did it; Brett and I went to Splash and got my eyebrow pierced. It was pretty simple and painless. I like it a lot. Im pretty much a badass now.
